PDN signs Principles for responsible investment Published: 25-05-2020

PDN became a signatory of the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) in May 2020. In signing these Principles for Responsible Investment, PDN is committing itself to further embedding sustainability in its policies and the implementation thereof.

The United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment were introduced as voluntary ‘best-practice’ standards in 2006 for asset owners and asset managers who aim to take environmental, social, and good governance (ESG) issues into account in their investment process. The PRI includes a set of six guidelines for responsible investment.

PDN will:

  1. incorporate ESG issues into investment analysis and decision-making processes.
  2. be active owners and incorporate ESG issues in voting at shareholder meetings and in communications with companies.
  3. seek appropriate disclosure on ESG issues from the companies in which PDN invests.
  4. promote acceptance and implementation of the Principles within the investment industry.
  5. work together to enhance our effectiveness in implementing the Principles.
  6. report on our activities and progress towards implementing the Principles.
