It is our pleasure to welcome Nicole Beuken, who will be taking on the position of independent chair of the board at Pensioenfonds PDN effective 1 July. With more than 35 years of experience at Stichting Pensioenfonds ABP, she is far from an unfamiliar face in the world of pensions. In addition to that, she has been working as an independent chair of the board at PME, i.e. the Pension Fund for the Metals and Electrical Engineering Sector, since 2020. We wish Nicole Beuken all the best in her position at Pensioenfonds PDN!

As the chair, Nicole’s focus will primarily be on the careful transition to the new pension scheme and on future-proofing the fund going forward. Sound decision-making in the best interests of all members is for her the most important principle. She will also be emphasising the importance of clear communications, allowing members to gain a better understanding of their pensions and how financial developments affect them.
Nicole believes that Pensioenfonds PDN is a solid fund with good results, supported by committed members of staff and an open organisational culture. She considers it her responsibility to carefully balance the interests of employers, employees and pensioners, while contributing to balanced decision-making in the process.
Nicole will be introducing herself personally in one of the next editions of the PDN Magazine.
