At a time when our Board was facing one of the most significant pension changes ever, our first Independent Chairman, Arend de Jong, guided us through the decision-making process with clarity, calmness, and decisiveness. Thanks in part to his clear direction and careful approach, the Board reached timely and well-considered decisions about the new pension system. Arend recently decided to step down as Independent Chairman of the Board.

On behalf of the entire Board, we sincerely thank Arend for his dedication, leadership, and commitment. We wish Arend all the best in all his future endeavors.

Due to the positive experiences with the independent chairmanship, the Board has now begun recruiting new candidates for this vacant position.
