Appointment of Henk Lukkezen as aspiring board member Published: 24-11-2025

Piet Rennen, board member representing the pensioners, will reach the maximum term of office on February 14, 2026, and will therefore step down as of that date.

In preparation for this, the recruitment of candidates for a board position among pensioners started in July 2025. This resulted in one candidate, who was then invited by SPO Nyenrode (SPO) for a suitability test.

Henk Lukkezen has been positively evaluated by SPO based on the profile of General Board Member & Additional Investment Committee Member. Henk has about 10 years of experience in the Accountability Council and has also followed various pension courses at SPO during that time. With his educational level, financial background, and international experience, Henk possesses good general pension knowledge.

At the beginning of November 2025, the board appointed Henk Lukkezen as aspiring board member on the advice of the nomination committee, in preparation for his intended appointment as a general board member in February 2026. Since there was only one candidate remaining, there were no elections, and the appointment will follow, subject to approval by the Supervisory Board and De Nederlandsche Bank.

Once Henk's appointment as a board member is officially approved in February, we will introduce him to you in more detail.
