Final step in decision-making process on new pension has been taken Published: 10-10-2025

On 8 October, Pensioenfonds PDN took the final step in the decision-making process regarding the new pension. The board decided to accept the assignment from the social partners (employers and trade unions). This means that the board will implement the new scheme, grant the request for transition, with the correction made by the board, and implement the contribution compensation scheme
There is still one slight reservation: a few minor adjustments need to be made to the underlying documents. Once these are ready, the board will submit the formal decision to the Dutch Central Bank (DNB), including all underlying documentation.

And then it is DNB's turn
DNB will then assess whether it can agree with the board's decision. For everyone who has a pension with Pensioenfonds PDN, it is important to know whether DNB considers the arguments strong enough to deviate from the standard asset allocation on which the legislation and regulations are based. (More information about this can be found in this video) It may take months or even a year before this can be determined.
