Margreet Teunissen Chairman of PDN's Supervisory Board Published: 15-10-2019 Margreet Teunissen was appointed Chairman of PDN's Supervisory Board on September 19, 2019.

Teunissen Margreet_RvT.png (990 KB)She succeeds Wendy de Jong, who relinquished this post on February 15, 2019 due to becoming a member of the Supervisory Board of the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets. 

Margreet studied classical guitar at the conservatories in Amsterdam and Arnhem and Educational Sciences at Utrecht University. After a career in education and as a director at the Netherlands Trade Union Confederation (FNV), she became a director of the Muziekcentrum in Eindhoven and then broadcasting manager at Netherlands Public Broadcasting (NPO) and a director at Internationaal Danstheater. Alongside her work, she fulfilled and continues to fulfill various supervisory roles in the healthcare and pension sectors. She is currently the non-executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of De Nationale APF and Pensioenfonds Openbare Bibliotheken and a member of the Supervisory Board of IrisZorg.

Margreet Teunissen:

“Although pensions are often seen as something to think about later, it's very important that everything is properly arranged. The Dutch pension system is really good, but we'll need to update it while preserving its positive attributes With my knowledge as a supervisory officer in healthcare, combined with my knowledge of a sectoral and general pension fund and various management models, I look forward to making a contribution to the PDN company pension fund.”
