Make sure to submit your request before 1 October 2026* After this date, Pensioenfonds PDN will not accept any new value-transfer requests until after the transition to the new pension. Note: We can no longer guarantee that your request will be processed in time. The sooner you submit the request, the greater your chances of success.

Why can't I carry out a value transfer after 1 October 2026? +
Pensioenfonds PDN will be transitioning to the new pension scheme on 1 January 2027. To ensure we are fully prepared for this transition, we will temporarily stop accepting new requests for pension transfers from 1 October 2026. You will be able to submit a request again once the transition to the new pension scheme has taken place.
What are the conditions to transfer my pension to PDN? +
Small pension
If you have a small pension (between €2 and €613.25 gross per year) with your previous employer, you do not have any choice: your pension is automatically transferred to PDN.
Larger pension
If your pension with your previous employer is higher than €613.25 gross per year, you have the option of keeping your pension with your previous employer or to have it transferred to PDN.
How do I apply for a value transfer? +
You can request a value transfer from Pensioenfonds PDN by completing the ‘Value transfer Application form’ and sending it to us.

How long does a value transfer take? +
A value transfer is made between your current pension fund and your old pension fund. The value transfer is initiated by you when you submit the ‘Value Transfer form’ . After that, you do not need to do anything for a while. After some time, Pensioenfonds PDN will send you a calculation of the value of your pension. The value transfer can only proceed once you have agreed to it. The process takes approximately 6-7 months.
Where can I find the current funding level of PDN? +
The funding level and the policy funding level are published around the 10th working day of each month on our website under “Funding level, returns and other financial figures”.
The funding level is now higher than 130%. By how much will my starting capital at Pensioenfonds PDN be increased? +
We do not know that yet. Employers, trade unions and the board of Pensioenfonds PDN need to discuss this. Those discussions are ongoing.
Why do I need to request a value transfer as soon as possible? +
This is necessary if you want to transfer to Pensioenfonds PDN because of the transition bonus. It can take up to seven months for your request to be processed. If you want to benefit from a better transition bonus, you must submit your application on time. That way, you can be sure that everything will be arranged in time. The longer you wait, the less likely it is that you will be on time.

What are the conditions of transfering my PDN pension? +
Small pension
If you have a small pension (between €2 and €632.63 gross per year) with SPF, you do not have any choice: PDN automatically transfers your pension to the pension fund where you are currently accruing pension.
Larger pension
If your pension with PDN is higher than €632.63 gross per year, you have the choice of leaving your pension with PDN or to have it transferred to the pension fund where you are currently accruing pension.
